For me personally, mindfulness means living an intentional life. When we live with intent and mindfully, we can really be present. It is in the now we can find true joy and happiness.

2. a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
